Why did you want to work at Stack Financial Management?
I’m originally from Montana and wanted to retire in Whitefish. The opportunity to move here now and help a successful firm in my home state grow was too exciting to pass up. I like challenges and helping others, so being able to bring wealth management services to our clients and help us move into the future were reasons why I knew I wanted to work here. I’m also excited to get involved in the local community and give back to my home state.
What do you enjoy most about your career?
The long-lasting relationships I’m able to build with clients and the various financial problems I’m able to help them solve bring me much joy.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
It’s almost easier to ask me what I don’t like doing. I love all things outdoors, especially hiking and skiing. I’m a big fan of music and enjoy going to concerts, playing the piano, and singing. I also love food, wine, and travelling.
Do you have upcoming travel plans?
I don’t have anything set in stone yet, but I’d really like to visit Medellín, Colombia in 2020. There’s so much history there and most people associate it with Pablo Escobar and the cartels, but the city has experienced massive change since the 90s. In 2013 Medellín won an award from Harvard for urban design and was named ‘City of the Year’ by the Wall Street Journal. It’s known as ‘The City of Eternal Spring’ because it experiences average year-round temps of 72°F and is surrounded by nature.
What is your favorite quote?
Can I give two? It’s so hard to pick just one.

“Love don’t cost a thing but its worth more than any diamond ring, ‘cause in this great big world it’s the little things.” ~Michael Franti
