Stack Financial Management (SFM) has been named to Forbes 2025 list of “America’s Top RIA Firms.” Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firms are bound by a stringent fiduciary standard to work in a client’s best interest and the list “highlights firms with proven records of safeguarding and growing client wealth.” It is SFM’s third time on this exclusive list of 250 firms from around the country, and SFM is the only firm named in Montana to receive this distinction.
The ranking methodology for “America’s Top RIA Firms” was developed by SHOOK Research and is based on compliance records, industry experience, assets under management, and revenue trends, among other criteria. SHOOK received 50,063 nominations for this list. Of those nominees, 28,522 were invited to take part in an online survey. SHOOK then completed telephone, virtual, and in-person interviews with nominees to determine the final list of 250. SHOOK seeks role-model firms when developing their rankings – those that are leading the way in following best practices and providing a high-quality experience for clients.
