Responsibilities:

  • Perform equity market research and make recommendations on both asset allocation and security selection.
  • Actively contribute to investment committee decisions on portfolio strategy.
  • Collaborate with the team in writing insightful publications and display thought leadership that clearly communicates our investment strategy.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with current and prospective clients on an ongoing basis.
  • Prepare portfolio reviews and perform tax-sensitive transition planning for prospects and clients.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of large block trades and periodic account rebalancing.
  • Participate in business development, firm presentations, and special events.

Qualifications:

  • Appreciation for risk management and experience incorporating it into stock selection and portfolio construction.
  • Strong understanding of equity markets with experience in security analysis and portfolio management.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly explain your thinking and tailor your message to the audience.
  • A collaborative mindset when it comes to working as a team and serving our clients.
  • Aptitude for leveraging technology and mastering new software applications.
  • Attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a strong work ethic.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, and 5+ years of experience in a high-net-worth client environment preferred.
  • Holds or is actively pursuing CFA charter.
  • Has completed or is willing to complete the FINRA Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor Law Examination or holds an eligible waiver (CFA, CFP, ChFC, CIC, or PFS).
