Work experience prior to joining SFM:
Shawna has spent the last 15 years of her professional career honing vital skills for providing an exceptional client experience – including specialized training in client service, leadership, conflict resolution, estate law, and business office practices. Prior to joining the SFM Team, Shawna worked as the Director of Client Services for a firm specializing in creating high-end integrated audio, video, and technology solutions for clients with luxury homes. She is also particularly proud of her prior role with the State of Montana Department of Revenue where she audited license applications, assisted in rule writing, led software adoption and training, and was ultimately appointed by the Department of Revenue Director to be a member of the ICCW (Interagency Committee for Change by Women).
Role at SFM:
As a Client Relationship Specialist, Shawna focuses on all facets of client service while assisting new and existing clients with opening new accounts, transferring assets, and any other required account maintenance.
When not in the office:
Shawna is living her Montana dream life alongside her husband Luke. Together they own a small woodworking business that has allowed them to build relationships within the woodworking community around the world. They also enjoy supporting the local community by donating custom tables, frames, and other one-of-a-kind handcrafted items to fundraising events.
During the winter, Shawna can often be found snowmobiling, while she spends her summers camping along the Yaak River and running a small-engine dredge on the family gold claim. Above all, she treasures time with her growing family, including her two grandchildren and daughters-in-law. Whether spending time with loved ones or pursuing her hobbies, Shawna loves learning new things and has a genuine passion for helping others.
